So as you all have probably realized – I am obsessed with peanut butter. I found this recipe online and the great thing about it is that it is 21 Day Fix approved so it’s a great treat for those trying to watch what they are eating but still craving something savory.
I decided to whip up this treat for my husband and I while we were stuck at home during the Blizzard of 2016! We ended up getting over 3 feet of snow!
This bark was super easy to make and only took a few minutes of my time.
You will need the following:
- 1 Cup Low Fat or Non Fat Greek Yogurt
- 1-2 Tbsp Honey
- 2-3 Tbsp Peanut Butter
- Mini Chocolate Chips
*I didn’t have the mini chocolate chips so I decided to use regular size chocolate and peanut butter chips instead.
In a bowl you will want to mix all of the ingredients very well.
Then spread an even layer onto a piece of parchment paper laid over a baking sheet.
Top with chocolate chips and then place in the freezer for 3 hours.
After the 3 hrs take out of the freezer, break with hands into large chunks and enjoy! Be careful not to let this bark sit out as it will melt very fast.
This recipe was very easy and could easily be mixed up to include different flavors or toppings to get a new end result. Only thing I would change on my end would be to do a little more research on the yogurt that I choose as this yogurt had a very powerful flavor even though it was plain and it takes away from the peanut butter.
